Good decision making is grounded in the use of robust, proven decision-making processes rather than an assessment of previous decision outcomes or results. Identifying and aligning on the decision-making approach avoids outcome bias and allows for a framework inside of which the diverse views of stakeholders can be discussed, and criteria and options can be evaluated. As business and governments pivot to confront new global concerns, new decision frameworks are emerging to support them.

During this workshop, participants will be guided through a series of tutorials, discussions and activities designed to understand a range of decision-making processes, approaches and the key factors to consider when determining which one will be most effective in any given situation.
