Abstract: Over two thousand years ago, the mathematician Euclid quipped, "There is no royal road to geometry.” Similarly, we have yet to discover a smooth, well-graded trail to integrate the principles of Decision Quality into organizational decision-making. Fortunately, we have an opportunity to learn first-hand from four pioneers in the energy and life science sectors about the challenges, approaches, outcomes, and ultimate benefits of embarking on this journey.

The questions to be discussed in this 90-minute session include:

• How have you approached the challenges of building and managing an internal decision sciences team?
• What are the key challenges you face, both within your company and within your team, as you work to deliver Decision Quality?
• What are the most important benefits of Decision Quality to your company?
• What are the emerging challenges you see on the horizon, both for your team and the community of decision professionals?
