Detailed Description and Meeting Details
How many times have we heard executives and management consultants quip that execution eats strategy for breakfast? The reality is that that strategy execution is messy and challenging because it occurs through a myriad of decisions, over a long implementation timeline, and in a constantly shifting business environment that is rife with uncertainty and risk.
This talk will explore:
- Common challenges in strategy implementationthat cause organizations to experience a significant gap between their strategic objectives and their actual performance
- Approaches that three management disciplines (lean, decision quality, and enterprise risk management) have developed approaches to close this gap
- Key questions to consider to enhance strategy execution decision making
The talk will set the table for an interactive dialogue with session attendees to explore prospects for enhancing strategy implementation decisions.
