Abstract: Streamgages provide geospatial streamflow information that delivers extensive benefits for purposes as diverse as issuing flood warnings to monitoring environmental conditions to determining recreational potential. This presentation will describe a case study that considers the use and value of Page 12 streamflow information for the design and operation of culverts. The analysis considered the full chain of information from collection of data to processing and dissemination to its use in decision-making.
