Abstract

- Compare and contrast failures from Operation Red Wings, a joint force operation in Afghanistan involving the US Marine Corps, Navy Special Forces, and the Afghan National Army, to mega project execution and challenges in improving productivity. The lessons learned also apply to the construction industry where big energy projects are often executed in multi-company settings.
