Abstract
Most risk management produces documents; decision makers need answers.
This session shows the practical bridge between risk management and decision-making — how to convert risk management efforts into direct input for the six elements of Decision Quality, with particular emphasis on relevant information, creative alternatives, and clear trade-offs.
Drawing on practical experience in risk management and quantitative analysis, Alex Sidorenko will demonstrate how risk analysis can be used in live investment, procurement, and planning decisions, and what can change when analysis is tied directly to decisions rather than reporting cycles.
The session will include worked examples, practical tools that are accessible to analysts, and a candid discussion of what worked — and what didn't.
