Abstract
Puan Emeliana will share experiences of application of the six elements of Decision Quality with examples from her career and where DA work brought meaningful shifts in eventual decisions. She will provide insights to practicing Decision Analysts on what works in terms of gaining influence/ traction in organizations

Emeliana is an experienced global energy executive. Whilst in PETRONAS she earned the Asia Pacific Energy Assembly 2019 Female Executive of the Year Award and the Offshore Technology Conference Asia 2022 Distinguished Achievements Award.
She started her career with Shell, where she undertook various technical, managerial and leadership roles in Malaysia, the UK, and the US before joining PETRONAS in 2012. As VP of Exploration, she led PETRONAS' global exploration ventures across Asia Pacific, West Africa, and North and Latin America, focusing on high-value opportunities and organizational capability development. She also championed PETRONAS Leading Women Network, a group-wide initiative to promote a diverse and inclusive workplace.
She served as Director on numerous public and private listed companies and is currently an Independent Non-Executive Director for Hibiscus Petroleum Berhad and Affin Bank Berhad. She believes in developing talents and continues to coach and mentor young talents and senior leaders across various industries
