Embedded Decision Analysis

Why is Decision Analysis not as prevalent as accounting? One reason is that the Decision Analysis community is preventing the rapid spread of Decision Analysis principles with its emphasis on the traditional consulting approach. To achieve widespread acceptance, Decision Analysis must become embedded in routine processes in organizations so that it is accomplished even if it is never formally done. We need to mature our thinking to achieve larger scale impact and in so doing create more opportunities for our community.
