Abstract: Have you experienced what Harvard Business Review, Oprah, and Merriam-Webster call an ‘Aha!’ moment, when you’ve realized that what you do for a living as a decision professional is applicable in every facet of your life? Do you think the world would be a better place if more people knew and practiced DA/DQ/DS? Do you sometimes wish DA/DQ/DS was more ubiquitous simply because dumb decision making is frustrating?

Join us for a facilitated session helping that future to occur by engaging with youth. This doesn’t require you to teach decision workshops to teens. This is about what works for you, in your comfort zone, given your skills and strengths. Having a 1:1 conversation with your child, grandchild, niece/nephew, neighbor – it all counts. Each decision discussion with a young person today can change tomorrow.

Come learn and practice an easy yet powerful technique to help succinctly define values and quickly establish a trusting relationship. Gain insights to better understand and interact with a teenager. Brainstorm with like-minded professionals, identifying specific next steps to help spread DA/DQ/DS, based on your skills and preferences, whether that’s in front of teens or behind the scenes.
